About the Training Center

• Dedicated to providing Family Therapy and Family Focused Mental Health Training for licensed providers since 1993.

• Committed to a collaborative approach in developing a learning curriculum that is skill focused

  • Curriculum advisors include: Parent representatives from NAMI, OMHSAS, CASSP, Community Based Consultants, and Service Providers

  • Yearly Review of curriculum, as well as the training program via Satisfaction Evaluations.  Lecture modules are updated to reflect the changing environmental and societal changes.

• Invested in the continuous improvement of specific learning objectives

  • Written and verbal evaluation of each training module promotes quality assurance and improvement.

  • On-going professional development for all WPIC Family Therapy Trainers is required.

• Continuing education documentation is available for all trainings upon the trainee's completion of the full training day (American Psychological Association (APA), National Board Certified Counselors (NBCC), Social Work, Act 48 and general Continuing Education Units (CEU's))
