The Biometrics Research laboratory, located on the
2nd
floor of Building 4 at the Highland Drive Division, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare
System, is devoted
to understanding physiological correlates of cognition in individuals with
and without psychopathology. Brain activity is assessed through measurement
of pupil dilation, event-related potentials (ERPs), including P300 and
N400, fMRI, electrocardiography (ECG), and electromyography (EMG),as well as
additional neuropsychological evaluations. The lab is affiliated
with the Department of Psychiatry,
School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh,
and with the VA Pittsburgh
Healthcare System.
